It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert C. Hassett of Bradley, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 82, on August 25, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hassett and Luella Hassett (Dahn); his wife Glenda Rae Knecht; his daughter Laura Lynn Hassett; his brother Richard; and his granddaughter Rebecca Rae Hassett.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Hassett (Traci) of Fairbury and Kevin Hassett (Karen) of Limestone; his grandchildren, Madeline Hassett of Athens, GA, Abigail Hassett of Fairbury, Anna Tonachel (Cooper) of Chicago, Nik Hassett of Fairbury and Alison Hassett of Limestone; and his great grandchildren, Malcom and Winston Schweizer of Fairbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Uplifted Care Hospice and Bourbonnais Little League.

“Brian and Kevin please accept Jackie and my condolences on the passing of your father. He was a good man. He loved baseball but began loving football with the two of you at MAC.
