Richard R. Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 95, Richard R. Thompson of Bradley, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thompson and Laura Thompson (Yeates); his daughter Linda Blanchette; his brother Bill Thompson; and his daughter-in-law Jan Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thompson of Bradley; his sons, Bruce Thompson of Pacifica, CA and Greg Thompson of Bradley, IL; his son-in-law Andy Blanchette of Bradley; and his grandchildren, Matthew Thompson (Allison), Chad Blanchette, Jennifer Holland (Gerard), Misty Blanchette and Keith Cochran (Piper). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
