She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Slack and Dorothy Slack (Henrion); her stepfather Theodore Sobol; and her niece Katie Schingel. She is survived by: her siblings, Ruth Ann Chinski (Skip) of Kankakee and Lawrence "Bud" Slack (Julie) of McLeansville; and her stepbrothers, Patrick Sobol of Sandwich and Theodore "Ted" Sobol (Joanne) of Maplewood, NJ.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
