She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ward and Velma Inman Ward; and her spouse Richard Walthers Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard Walthers Jr. (Nancy) of Bradley and Rita Patchett (Dennis) of Chebanse; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Hays (Herold) of Bourbonnais and Joyce Sanford (David) of Mackinaw. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
