It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Harrison Bright of Bradley, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bright and Theresa Bright (Menard); and his sister Mary Yeates. He is survived by: his wife Leona Bright; his siblings, Jack Bright (Judi) of Bourbonnais, Becky of Kankakee and Robin Bright of Kankakee; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Adcock (Rosemarie) of Peoria, Truman Adcock (Sarah) of Arlington Heights, Yvonne Porter (Jim) of Bicknel, IN. and Rhonda Showers (Thom) of Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Open Bible Center located in Kankakee.

“In the 70's, Joe was at our Bonfield house alot and all our family loved him. Together we played in a band, jazz band, marching band. He brought a radical kind and free spirit into my life and everyone's. So gifted and talented. We talked about spiritual life alot, and I wish the Bright family comfort in mourning, picturing where his soul has traveled into God's presence, living in joy with those that came before. His life continues in paradise. All our love, Larry Banister and Family.”
