He is survived by: his wife Clarice Arends (Tuttle) of Bradley; his daughters, Julie Clark (Jim), Jill Lustik (Scott), Jamie Wiley (Frank) and Joy Harmon (Aaron); his siblings, LouAnn Froelich, Dawn Arends and Royce Arends (Sandy); his grandchildren, Alexa Lichtfeld (Mike), Kendall Lustik, Cade Clark, Carsen Lustik, Mia Wiley, Jackson Wiley, Emma Harmon, Maddox Wiley and Finley Harmon; his great grandchild Reese Lichtfeld; and his brother-in-law Bob Tuttle (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
