He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Hayes and Florence Hayes; his brother Edward Hayes; his parents-in-law, Harold and Hazel Duncan; and his wife Beverly Joan Hayes of March.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Schillerstrom of Naperville, Toni Hayes Kruse of Phoenix and Gayle Dominicis (Henry) of Addison Illinois; his grandchildren, Brittany Schillerstrom of Naperville, IL, Nathan Schillerstrom, Mia Dominicis Salata (Stephen) of Chicago, IL and Henry Dominicis of Oak Park, IL.; his girlfriend Patty Clancy; and his sister Mary Johnson. He is also survived by friends and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (211 N Center Ave, Bradley, IL 60915).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradley, IL, the Hundred Club of Kankakee County.
