With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Bauer of Bradford, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parent Marion Elmer; and his spouse Marion Gertrude Schmidt. He is survived by: his daughters, Jana and Shawna Bauer of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Jonathan Horne and Tiffany Bauer; and his siblings, Ella "Eileen" Norin (Jon) of Bloomington, John Bauer of Tiskilwa, Richard Bauer of Bradford, Jack Bauer of Buda, Barbara Carlson (Ray) of Mountain Home, AR, Edward Bauer (Sharon) of Bradford and Mary Jason of Wyoming, IL. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Bradford Senior Center, where Walt enjoyed many a game of bingo and dominoes.
