She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Forbes and Dorothy Forbes (Jones); her spouse Marion D. Lucas; her daughter Brenda Goforth; and her stepson Randal Lucas.

She is survived by: her children, Terry Goforth, Melinda Grier (Steve), Michael Goforth (Amy), Salinda Moats, Marion Lucas, Jr., Raymond Lucas (Crystal), Jeffery Lucas (Elsie), Annette Atkins (Jack), Katy Moore (Anthony) and Melissa Lucas; and her stepchildren, Becky Mercer, Steven Lucas, Russel Lucas and Tim Lucas. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers; five sisters; and many nieces and nephews.
