Glennis Nelson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glennis Nelson of Bradford, Illinois, born in Balkan, Kentucky, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife June Hunley; his daughter Vickie Nelson; his granddaughter Kiara Smith; and his siblings, Orville Nelson, Freeman Nelson, Helen Lawson and Elizabeth Collins.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherri Smith (Edwin) of Belleville; his grandchildren, E. J. Smith, Isaiah Parmer Smith, Beyla Smith and Nate Smith; and his siblings, Annette Hensley (late L. B.), Bonita Hunley (H. D.) and Jimmy Nelson (Deena). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wolfersberger Funeral Home (102 W Washington St, O'Fallon, IL 62269). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to either Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org) or Siteman Cancer Center.
