She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Smithers and Anita Smithers (Johnson); her son David Kirchmann; and her husband George Kirchmann. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Fitzpatrick (Bruce) of Arizona; her brothers, Traves Smithers (Jean) of California and Jerry Smithers (Jayne) of Florida; and her grandchildren, Ryan Fitzpatrick (Ann Wood), Sarah Doerfler (Andrew) and Alex Kirchmann (Brooke Lynn Martin). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Good Shepherd Manor, or Uplifted Care.
