It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verle H. Gross (Bourbonnais, Illinois), born in Buckingham, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Gross and Elsie Overwright Gross; and his grandson Greg Gross. He is survived by: his former wives, Betty Lou Harris and Patricia M. LeCuyer Schierenbeck; his wife Patricia Gross of Bourbonnais; his children, Michael Gross of Chicago and Deborah Gross of Miller Beach, IN; his stepchildren, Debbie, Jerry Gray of Bourbonnais, Lori, Bob Henson of White, GA, Sue Schierenbeck, Cheryle Stother of Bourbonnais, Heidi Malito, Steve Logan of New Lenox, Beth and Mark Christopher of Earl Park, IN; his sister Darlene Hendrix of Buckingham; and his grandson Steven Gross. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nine step-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Kankakee Valley or the family wishes.
