He is survived by: his parents, Robert Vandenberg and Lou Ann Meindle Meyers; his wife Kathy Nash; his children, Rick Nashkoff (Taylor Irvin) of Manteno and Amber Vandenberg (Michael Porter) of Manteno; his grandchildren, Rick and Kiera Nashkoff; and his brother Chris Vandenberg (Diane) of Cary.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Uplifted Care.
