We bid farewell to Sara Ayala of Bourbonnais, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 87. Sara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Lemus Zavala and Juana Villafuerte Santoyo; and her spouse Fulgencio Ayala Villagomez. She is survived by: her children, Maria Salinas (Fernando) of Bourbonnais, Martha Guerrero (Alfonso) of Kankakee, Manuel Ayala (Sara) of Kankakee, Roberto Ayala (Alicia) of Kankakee, Alfonso Ayala (Irma) of Kankakee, Guadalupe Ruiz (Rafael) of Kankakee, Luis Ayala of Kankakee, Elias Ayala (Silvia) of Kankakee, Javier Ayala (Linda) of Kankakee, Ana Romero (Jose Luis) of Kankakee and Augustine Ayala (Margarita) of St. Anne; and her siblings, Carlos Lemus (Maricella), Miguel Lemus (Graciella), Abel Lemus (Josefina), Guadalupe Lemus and Trenidad Lemus (Graciela). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).
