He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hill and Ursula Hill (Jeck); his parents-in-law, Paul and Anna Blanchette; his brother Michael Hill; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Blanchette Marquis and Phyllis Blanchette.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Blanchette of Bourbonnais; his son Matthew P. Hill; his daughter-in-law Julie Hill of Bradley; his daughter Jessica L. Lopez (Hill); his son-in-law Thomas Lopez (Tommy) of Valparaiso, IN; and his grandchildren, Jackson Hill, Harrison Hill, Bronson Hill, Magdalena Lopez (Maggie) and Thomas Drummond Lopez (Drum).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Illinois Veterans home in Roger's honor.
