With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Henry Oosterhoff of Bourbonnais, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Oosterhoff and Irene Oosterhoff (VanderMeer); and his siblings, John, Fred, Edward, Harry Jr., Clara, Katherine, Emily and Roselle.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Schaafsma Fasig; his children, Ronda Oosterhoff of Chicago, Glen Oosterhoff (Heather) of Momence and Renee Cox (Clint) of Wilmette; his grandchildren, Corrine Renshaw of Michigan, Everett Renshaw of Chicago, Reuben Renshaw, Erica Oosterhoff of Momence, John Oosterhoff of Carmel Indiana, Rachel Oosterhoff of Avon Indiana, Isabel Cox, Hillary Cox and Schuyler Cox; his stepchildren, Chad Fasig (Melissa) of Bloomington, Amy Fasig (Forrest Wing) of Washington and Misty Fasig of Washington; and his stepgrandchildren, Raegan Fasig (Keegan Wilcher), MacKenzie Fasig and Koby Perry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church of Wichert (7697 E 4500S Rd, St Anne, IL 60964). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (9291 E 4000 S Rd, St Anne, IL 60964).
