She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Haessly and Bernice Haessly (Dorsheid); her son Randy Leathers; and her siblings, Charlotte Horner, Jim Haessly and Bob Haessly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Lewis (Arthur) of Bourbonnais, Grace McCasland of Kankakee and Dolores Pierson (David) of Kankakee; her grandchildren, Brandon Rigsby (Andrea), Gina Schrock (Dave), Matthew Smith, Megan Guardiola (Robert), Melanie Donaho, Nick Hileman, Kylie Leathers, Deanna Acevado and Travis Rose of Ottawa, IL; and her sister Marge Davis of Champaign, IL.. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethal Baptist Church (119 W Bethal Drive, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).
