He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Olson and Virginia Olson (Grierson); and his son Steven Parks. He is survived by: his wife Judy Olson of Bourbonnais; his children, Hannah Olson Pohl (Matt) of Platte City, MO, Sarah Kent (Tom) of Clifton, Brian Parks (Michelle) of Sacramento, CA and Erick Olson (Kelly) of Rochelle; his grandchildren, Steven Parks, Alexandria Parks, Matthew Kent, Ian Kent, Jack Olson, Ivan Olson, Grace Olson and Ellie Olson; and his sisters, Eda Smith (Tom Cavender) of South Carolina and Roberta Olson of Bourbonnais. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, in honor of his late son, Steven Parks.
