He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Tennyson and Alberta Tennyson (Mitchell); and his sister Shirley. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn B. Meyr; his daughters, Brenda Harper (Chet Lynch) of Ohio, Pamela Tennyson of Ohio and Cindy Tennyson of LaSalle, IL; his stepchildren, Shari Sparks (Jerry) of Brentwood, TN, Larry Meyr (Julie) of Lowell, IN, Christina Nelson (John) of Libertyville, IL and Jack Meyr (Jamie) of Essex, IL; his grandchildren, Joshua Harper (Liz), Chelsia Ross (Dan), Tessa Harper, Jade Braddy and Sylvia Gainey (Christian); his stepgrandchildren, Sara Meyr, Mitch Nelson (Emily), Linzie Meyr, Nicholas Meyr, Jack Nelson (Emily), Maggie Meyr, Mazie Meyr, Ben Nelson, Samantha Sparks and Jack Sparks; his sister Barbara Barbish of McLeansboro, IL; and his niece Sonja Shelton. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.

Preferred memorials in Ray's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
