Elizabeth Simmons Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Simmons of Bourbonnais, Illinois, who passed away on June 12, 2022 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Simmons to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Potts and Elizabeth Hagene Potts; her husband Patrick W. Simmons; her sons, Sean Patrick Simmons and Timmy Simmons Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Osland-Thomas, Bill Potts and Patsy Potts.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Simmons of Homewood, Peggy and Chris Hendron of Valparaiso, IN; her sister-in-law Mary Ellen Campbell of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Timmy Simmons Jr., Laura Sexton (David), Lisa Juergens (Timothy), Sean Hendron (Emilee) and Christy Hendron; and her great grandchildren, Blake Juergens, Calli Sexton and Jackson Sexton. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Uplifted Care, MERCY Home, or National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.
