He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl P. Marcotte, Sr. and Margaret E. Kohl Marcotte; his wife Joanne C. Arthur; and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his children, Mark Marcotte (Jill) and Melody Morrissette (Tom Emmart); his siblings, Clarrissa Kibbons of Lake Okeechobee, FL, Marla Ostrowski (Bob) of Kankakee and Steve Marcotte (Gail) of Kankakee; his foster siblings, George Giagnoni (Phyllis) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Linda Giagnoni of Boubonnais and Karen Giagnoni of Kankakee; his grandchildren, Laura Kimmel (Chris), Ryan Marcotte, Elizabeth Marcotte, Sarah Marciniak (Jacob), Andrew Marcotte (Sara), Matthew Marcotte (Meredeth), Max Diaz (Anne), Parker Morrissette, Bennet Morrissette and Cooper Morrissette; his great grandchildren, Jude Kimmel, Michael Marcotte, Levi Marcotte, Dominic Diaz, Lennon Kimmel, Abigail Marciniak and Rebekah Marciniak; his close friends, Jack, Joanne Jarvis, Linda, Dave Suprenant, Judean Benston, Roger Wissmiller and Donna Hanks; his sister-in-law Barbara Arthur; and also Vickie Fortin.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family will be planning a memorial life celebration to be held a later date.
