We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Doris Yvonne Wood of Bourbonnais, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. McCarty and Birdie Marie McCarty (Pierce); her husband Oliver Wood; her sister Patricia; her son-in-law Mike; and her pet Gracie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yvonne Hurlburt (Joseph) of Crete and Teresa Girot of Bourbonnais; her grandchildren, Jay Stich, Sarah Krich and Nathan Hurlburt; and also Mike Oestreicher of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (500 N Cleveland Ave, Bradley, IL 60915). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church or Iroquois Community Center.
