She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Nichols and Mabel Nichols (Roberts); her husband John C. Friend; and her siblings, Anita, Eugene, Wayne and Dale.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Gilbeaux (John) of Destrehan and Cheryl Nourie (Alan) of Manteno; her grandchildren, Ryan Calhoun, Valerie Gross, Traci Denison and Nicole Baker; and her siblings, Bill, Bob and Alice. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
