She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolar Martin and Laurettta Martin (Mailloux); her husband Dick Smith; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Ella Smith; her son Marshall Luke Smith; her siblings, Shirley Martin, Theresa Devine, Albert Martin, Leonard "Shakey" Martin, Richard Martin and Paul Martin; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Martin, Theresa Martin, Milton Breault and Vince Devine.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Smith (Ruth) of Bourbonnais, Martin Smith (Christi) of High Ridge, MO, Marsha Smith of Bristol, CT, Janice Tobenski (Denny) of Kankakee and Monica Brigham (Max) of Chebanse; her grandchildren, Kim Schaefges (Craig), Andy Smith, Joanna Narayanan (Vasant), Dennis Tobenski (Darien), Denton Tobenski (Kelly), Joel Brigham (Amy), Kyle Brigham (Logan), Jenna Tackett (Beau), Jackie Brigham and Casey Trueman (Chris); her great grandchildren, Mark Schaefges, Matthew Schaefges, Maddison Schaefges, Paige Brigham, Morgan Brigham, Briggs Tackett, Vikram Narayanan, Lilly Narayanan, James Trueman, Parker Trueman, Luke Trueman and Baby Brigham; and her sisters, Marilyn St. Louis of Ocala, FL and Claudia Jones (Jerry) of The Villages, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
