He was predeceased by: his father Roy D. LaGesse; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his mother Sheila Miller LaGesse of Kankakee; his wife Katherine LaGesse of Bourbonnais; his children, Jonathan LaGesse of Bourbonnais and Jessica LaGesse of Bourbonnais; and his siblings, Peggy Tyson of Kankakee, Tina Gonzales of Kankakee, Amanda Reynolds of Kankakee, Teresa Thomas of Kankakee, Mary LaGesse of Kankakee, Mario LaGesse of Limestone, Jody LaGesse of Kankakee and Roy LaGesse of Kankakee.
