With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Roof Sr. of Bourbonnais, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Roof and Lula May Roof (Hoback); and his siblings, Harry, Earl, Don, Tommy, Billy, Gene, Jerry, Jimmy, David, Alberta, Violet, Patty and Annie.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Roof of Bourbonnais; his children, Joe Roof (Kim) of Albany, NY, Shawna Alderman (Kevin) of Albany, NY and Sandra Roof of Bradley; his grandchildren, Daniel, Naomi, Skylar, Kyla, Emily and Jaeden; and his siblings, Sue Reed of Decatur and Michael Roof of Mesa, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a private service for Charlie will be held at Calvary Baptist Church of Kankakee.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Charlie's name may be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Kankakee.
