It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol P. Raef of Bourbonnais, Illinois, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol P. Raef to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arcade Plante and Dora LaMontagne Plante; her husband Charles Raef; her siblings, Joseph and Josette Quigley; and her daughter Mary Kent.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Jayne Raef), Mark (Joy Raef), Charlotte Raef of Aurora and Jean (John Baxter); and her sister-in-law Patricia St. John of Kankakee. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maternity B. V. M. Catholic Church (308 E Marsile St, Bourbonnais, IL 60914).
Memorials may be made to Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church or Bishop McNamara Catholic Schools.
