She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ward and Velma Ward (Inman); her former husband Charles G. Curwick Sr.; and her siblings, Edward Ward Jr., Ted Ward, Virgil Ward, Lois Walthers and Joyce Sanford.
She is survived by: her husband Herold Hays of Bourbonnais; her children, Chuck Jr. Curwick (Linda), Dale E. Curwick (Donna) of Bradley, Robert L. Curwick (Paula) and Cindy L. Mitchell (Scott) of Crescent City; her daughter-in-law Becky Curwick of Bradley; and her brother-in-law Dave Sanford of Mackinaw, IL. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
