He was predeceased by: his parents, Klemens Schiel and Klementina Schippelbein Schiel. He is survived by: his daughter Dawn; his son-in-law Scott Tsilis of Bourbonnais; his grandchildren, Sara Tsilis and Luke Tsilis; and his siblings, Erica (Gene Schwanbeck), Monica (Mark Powell), Chris (Tony Bray) and Reinholdt Schiel of Kankakee. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many good friends.
