He was predeceased by: his father Ralph E. Irvin; his wife Doris Marilyn Irvin (Baker); his siblings, Harold Irvin, Earl Irvin and Betty Irvin; and his granddaughter Megan Irvin.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Irvin, Jr. (Marcia) of Bonnie and Michael Irvin (Cindy) of Woodlawn, Illinois; his grandchildren, Candi J. Schaefer (David) of Bonnie, Blake Irvin (Kaylyn) of Spring Hill, Brya Scott (Michael) of Woodlawn, Christy Hanusek (Chris) of Columbia and Courtney Francke (Joe) of Saint Louis, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Wade Schaefer, Cody Schaefer, McClain Cermmin, Corbin Cermmin, Lexi Scott, Emberlyn Irvin, Lucas Francke, Atlee Francke and JJ Francke; his sisters, Sharon Rhoton and Jane Woodcock; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Irvin, Clarabell Irvin and Betty Wells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
