He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frick and Flora Frick (McGhee); his daughter Charlene Frick; and his siblings, Gwain Frick, Harold Frick, Gene Frick, George Frick and Eliza Florence Pickett.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Colleen Frick (McMillin); his children, Marvin Ray Frick (Sandra) of Bonnie, IL and Charla Jean Walls (Mark) of Inverness; his grandson Jacob Ryan Frick of Bonnie, IL; his brother John Frick Jr. of Evansville, IN; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmie McMillin (Betty) of Rector, Lonnie McMillan of Lennon and Stanley McMillin (Jerri) of Jonesboro. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per the family's request in lieu of flowers memorials in Dean's memory should be given to the Abner Cemetery and can be sent to the family or Newell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IL, who is in charge of the services.
