Joshua Melton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Joshua Melton (Bonnie, Illinois), born in Mount Vernon, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Alan "Mike" and Stephanie Jo Melton (Moore); his siblings, Daniel Jay Melton of Bonnie and Caitlyn Settle (Tim) of Mount Vernon; his grandmother Patsy Chelf of McLeansboro; his aunts and uncles, Dale Moore (Brenda) of Mount Vernon, Anthony Melton (Ginger) of Kell, Mike Moore of Mount Vernon, Marilyn Harris (Larry) of Carrier Mills, Debbie Sanders of Mount Vernon, Angie Chelf-Pierce of Belleville, Pamela Mullins (Jeff) of Mount Vernon and Katrena Moore of Mount Vernon; his grandparents, Francis "Beaver", Irene Moore and Gary Melton; his uncle Gary Moore; and his great-grandparents, Lillie Buttrum, Ethel, Ted Melton, Opal and Lewis Morgan. He was also cherished by several cousins and extended family.

Memorials may be made in Joshua's honor to Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church Youth Group or for those who wish, memorials may be made to Stephanie Melton for the family to be able to make donations to several of Josh's favorite charities.
