In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rosetta had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Rosetta may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Duchene, and Luella Duchene, Sr. (Schriefer); and her brother-in-law Mike Mecila. She is survived by: her husband John Tomsic; her son James Boyd of Colorado; her siblings, Diana Mecila of Indiana, Lynnette Berryhill (Mike) of Piper City, Raymond Duchene, Jr. (Lyn) of Kankakee and Rick Duchene (Robin) of North Carolina; her brothers-in-law, Marty Tomsic and Mike Tomsic; and her grandchildren, Emily and Logan. She is also survived by nine nieces, eight nephews, seventeen great nieces, fourteen great nephews, one great great niece and two great great nephews.
