Reuben M. Riegel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reuben M. Riegel of Bonfield, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Riegel and Olive Riegel (Buente); his aunt Henrietta Buente; his brothers, Rollin, Arland and Paul Riegel; and also, Carolyn Riegel and Elaine Frenzke.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Riegel of Bonfield; his children, James Riegel (Pam Mack) of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, Marcia Jackson (Claude) of Florissant and Linda Riegel of Normal, Illinois; his grandchildren, Patrick Lindley (Jacque Goodwin), Nathan Lindley and Amber Piercy (Josh); his great grandchildren, Kylee, Emilee and Brett; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Riegel and Maggie Wilson. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church.
