He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward and Virginia Lee Snedecor (Webb); his former wife Wanda Milligan; his siblings, John Reynolds and Brenda Olson; his stepson Eric; and his daughter Denise Kirchner.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Snedecor (Pam) of Kankakee, IL, Todd Snedecor (Jackie) of Pontiac, IL, Heather Thurston (Jeremy) of Herscher, IL and Kevin Kirchner (Sheila) of Bonfield, IL; his sisters, Carla Springer of Raleigh, IL and Sandy Herpel of Eldorado, IL; and his pet LeRoy. He is also survived by several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (255 E 3rd St, Herscher, IL 60941). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriners Children's Hospital, or Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth.
