She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Walter and Anna Friese Walter; her husband Kenneth F. Marcotte; her siblings, Henry (Helen Walter) and Ruth; her siblings-in-law, Jim, Phoebe Ealy, Roland, Eleanor Marcotte, Mush, Yvonne Marcotte, Red, Mary Marcotte, Henrietta, Foo Chamness, Ambrose, Pat Perrault, Rose and Harold Longtin; her daughter-in-law Fran Marcotte; and her grandson Benjamin Marcotte.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Marcotte of Rensselaer, Richard (Peggy Sue Marcotte), Walter Marcotte of Bonfield, Roger Marcotte of Bonfield and Bonnie (Alan Buckley). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church (348 E Smith St, Bonfield, IL 60913).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church, Illinois Veterans Home at Manteno, or Uplifted Care.
