It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane L Ferris of Bonfield, Illinois, born in Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Ferris and Blanche Ferris (Nakerts); his parents-in-law, Clarence and LaVanche West; and his brother-in-law Robert West.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley West; his sons, Daryl Ferris (Connie), Dean Ferris (Jan) of Bonfield and Brian Ferris (Susan) of Sumter; his brother Dallas Ferris (Joyce) of Irwin; his grandchildren, Brenden, Brett, Tyler, Ally, Paige, Kyle and Piper; his great grandchildren, Waylon and Averie; and his brothers-in-law, Roger West (Rita) and Dino Helopoulos (Cheryl) of Bonfield.
