She was predeceased by: her parents, John Heidel and Catherine F. Heidel (Hanner); her parents-in-law, Leo C. and Elsie Melhorn; and her brother-in-law Kenneth W. LaPaso.
She is survived by: her husband Clay E. Melhorn; her children, John R. Moore (Kris) and Crystal E. Peña (Rodney); and her siblings, Carolyn J. LaPaso (Heidel) and William "Bill" Heidel (Joann). She is also survived by six grandchildren.
