With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine H. Ley of Bonfield, Illinois, born in Mission, Texas, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Catherine H. Ley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ley; her son David Castillo; her great grandchild Noah Castillo; and her siblings, Dionicio Hernandez, Carmen Hernandez Cavazos, Guadalupe Hernandez Reyna, Tomasa Hernandez Cavazos, Cruz Hernandez, Felicitas Hernandez Munguia and Teodoro Hernandez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alma Grijalva (Frank), Jo Ann Kirchner (Henry) and JoEllen Weston (Casey); her daughter-in-law Sonja Castillo of Wilmington, IL; her grandchildren, Stephanie Cherney (Scott), Amy Castillo (Jeremey Wells), Emily Castillo, Dallas Bastillo (Mitch), Kelly Kirst (Noah), Katie Wenzelman (Tyler), Joseph Kirchner, Sara Weston (Paul Mosley), Jeremy Weston (Amy Gil) and Dana Weston; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Wells, Nicholas Wells, Anthony Wells, David Castillo, Norah Cherney, Vivian Cherney, River Weston and Mato Bastillo. She is also survived by two faithful companion cats.
