She was predeceased by: her father Herschel Root. She is survived by: her mother Patsy Root (Fitzgerrell) of Mt. Carmel, IL; her daughter Brandy Iles (Robert Wills) of Olney, IL; her grandchildren, Alicia, Justin and Amaria; and her brother Greg Root (Linda) of Bone Gap, IL. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
