He is survived by: his parents, Elmer Eakin and Julia Eakin of Bondville; his wife Patricia Ann Eakin; his children, Sally Eakin, Jane Colclasure (David), John Thomas Eakin and Richard Eakin (Nella); and his sister Ruth M. Sims of Tuscola. He is also survived by two grandsons and one granddaughter.
