He was predeceased by: his spouse Eladia "Ledy" Semilla; and his parents, Valentin Semilla and Generosa Semilla. He is survived by: his children, Joy Cruz (Nesty), Grace Abad (Dexter), Kevin Cruz (Jenna), Kirby Cruz (Sara), Erin Abad (Nathan), Gabriel Abad, Isabel Abad, Lolo and Camilla Moon Cruz; and his siblings, Lilia Dube, Zenaida Canatoy and Dan Semilla.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium (530 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (1501 W Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60490).
