He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gobetz and Rose Gobetz (Susan); his father-in-law James, Sr. Gisch (Phyllis); and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Eileen (Tom), Maureen (Joe) and Rob (Lisa).

He is survived by: his nephews, Connor and Colton (Gianna); and his niece Madison.
