We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2021, at the age of 71, Walter David Hooks III of Bolingbrook, Illinois, born in Utica, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter David and Agnes Hooks (Scholl); his wife Terry Hooks (Schaefer) of Bolingbrook; his children, Alison Gomez (David) of Shorewood and Colin Hooks (Alex) of Shorewood; his grandchildren, Marley Vocu, Penelope Gomez and Maximus Gomez; his siblings, Ellen McVey (late James) of Depoe Bay, Stephen Hooks (Jeanie) of Joliet, Thomas Hooks (Lee Ann Banas) of New Lenox and Eileen Gutierrez (Ralph) of Joliet; and also, Jennifer Schaefer, Hope, Jaxon of Menomonee Falls and Dave. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
