She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Satya Pal Kalra; and her children, Madhu Uppal (Jug), Rajiv Kalra (Joann) and Neerja Madan (Sanjiv). She was also cherished by mother to her young sisters and brothers-in-law.
