She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lt. Tara and Lt. Kantilal Contractor; her husband Suresh Christian; her children, Sachin Christian (Avani), Shilpa Kolekar (Ajit) and Samir Christian; her grandchildren, Milan, Shaan, Nikita and Nimita; and her brothers, Nelson Contractor and Samson Contractor. She was also cherished by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Shelina's name to benefit her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
