She is survived by: her children, Vickie Bhatia, Ravi Bhatia (Sarah) and Anisha Florian (Nickolaus); her sisters, Kiran Kapur and Kanchan Rai (Girish); her siblings-in-law, Sonjai Bhatia (Lise) and Anju Bhatia (Pradeep); her nieces and nephews, Tanya, Reena, Sonya (Jacob), Monica, Neha, Kyle, Jason, Mayoor (Sajni) and Dravit; and her grandsons, Zane Kumar and Miles Kapur Bhatia (Parents Ravi).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to The ALS Foundation (Greater Chicago Chapter) or to the Morton Arboretum in Lisle.
