With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul J. Walen Sr. (Bolingbrook, Illinois), who passed away on October 26, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Ann Marie Walen. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Mark (Lydia), Paul Jr. (Petra) and Lynda Halama (John); and his siblings, John (late MaryVin) and Mary Mattera (late Gus). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will be appreciated.
