She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Kenneth, Miriam Geiger, Charles and Coyla Dornton. She is survived by: her husband Steven Perkins; her children, Grant Perkins and Elissa Perkins; her parents, John Geiger and Barbara Geiger; her sister Nicole Stahly (Craig); her nephews, Drew Stahly and Ty Stahly; her pet Rocky; and her aunts and uncles, Sara Stouffer (Allen) of Kitchener, Ontario, Lois Coffman (James) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Cindy Ledford (Jerry) of Raleigh, Julie Lawrence (Jim) of Battle Creek and William Dornton (Becky) of Battle Creek, Michigan. She is also survived by many cousins and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Michelle's name may be made to the family for education expenses for Grant and Elissa.
