With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J Wynns of Bolingbrook, Illinois, born in Patuxent River, Maryland, who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Michael's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Wynns and Dorothy Wynns; and his brother Gregory Wynns. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Wynns; his children, Christie Wynns (Alex), Tracie Sopoci (Terry) and Jason Wynns (Kelly); and his sister Ramona Mahoney of Westfield, MA.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the New Life Lutheran Church (249 N Bolingbrook Dr, Bolingbrook, IL 60440). The military honors will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
